Storage

Storage

Appropriate storage techniques throughout the entire food chain are crucial to ensure that good quality products reach consumers. In general, organic crops and products can be stored using the same methods as conventional. However, organic crops are often associated with higher risk of storage losses, that’s why temperature, moisture, smell and pest invasion must be carefully monitored. These losses can be mostly avoided by ensuring that produce is of high quality with good organic husbandry techniques and also proper storage techniques.

Discover tools which will help to properly store your organic crops and products.
